This ESD (Electro Static Dissipative) chair is upholstered using conductive fabric to help 'Ground' static build up in conjunction with special floor covering. The fabric is available in 9 colours.
Specialist ESD chair has been designed to be used in high tech companies both in the public and private sectors such as defence research and manufacturing, general and micro electronics manufacturing, petro-chemical industry, MOD research and the aviation industry. These chairs conform to all European standards.
Options include seat tilt mechanism, arms & high back. Comfortable seat and back upholstered. Height and rake back adjustment with 'permanent contact back' mechanism. Polished full height 20 stone rated gas strut and polished footring fitted. Base fitted with ESD glides. Designed for 'severe contact' use.

This chair is delivered built and no assembly is required.
Glides: Glides are supplied as standard. These are flat feet fitted to the base of the chair (as shown in the image) rather than castors that you would would normally see on an office chair.
Standard Castors: These are an optional extra (instead of glides). The same as castors you would see on most office chairs.
