This ESD (Electro Static Dissipative) chair is vinyl upholstered using conductive vinyl to help 'Ground' static build up in conjunction with special floor covering.
Specialist ESD chair has been designed to be used in high tech companies both in the public and private sectors such as defence research and manufacturing, general and micro electronics manufacturing, petro-chemical industry, MOD research and the aviation industry. These chairs conform to all European standards.
Options include seat tilt mechanism & arms. Comfortable seat and back vinyl upholstered. Height and rake back adjustment with 'permanent contact back' mechanism. Polished full height 20 stone rated gas strut and polished footring fitted. Base fitted with ESD glides. Designed for 'severe contact' use.

Glides: Glides are supplied as standard. These are flat feet fitted to the base of the chair (as shown in the image) rather than castors that you would would normally see on an office chair.
Standard Castors: These are an optional extra (instead of glides). The same as castors you would see on most office chairs.
